Hey there! I’ve created this blog some time last year, and so far.. nothing has really happened yet. Which is kind of disappointing, because when I actually made this blog (with a little help of a friend) I was really excited about it and wanted to get to writing on here right away.
And then I fell into a huge reading slump, so I had practically nothing to write about. I mean, I only read about two books so far this year and it’s already the end of March. What the hell is wrong with me?? Work is just keeping me really busy and I’m moving to a new place in May, so I don’t have a lot of time or motivation for reading at the moment.
But to get my motivation back, I thought I’d participate in one of the many many reading challenges out there. I looked at a lot of them online and ended up finding the 2018 Badass books reading challenge by Melissa over at Mehawkins.com. I liked the challenges and they seem to be actually achievable, so I thought I’d at least give it a shot. Here’s a list of all the challenges.
The challenges themselves don’t seem too crazy to not be able to complete them, but still interesting enough to actually be fun.
This will be my first reading challenge ever, so I’m really stoked to be a part of it! I already have a few ideas for some of the challenges, but I’m not going to set a TBR for each of them in order to be able to change them up if I feel like reading Fight Club over The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy for instance (for the book published in my birth year, 1996).
Excited to be participating in this – I’ll keep you updated.
